FUN FREEBIE FROM DSW SHOES!!

I got a great surprise in the mail today from Designer Shoe Warehouse!  On this past Mother's Day, DSW  offered a surprise to everyone who put a message on the Facebook wall showing love for your mom.  I posted and was expecting maybe a coupon or something along those lines.  Boy was I surprised when I came home today to see a good-sized box waiting on me!  I quickly opened it to find the cutest tote bag!  It is a great size and has a cute design on the outside along with a zippered side pocket. The inside is a bright red color and has another zippered pocket, and the bag can be closed with 2 snaps.  I love it! If you love shoes you should check out DSW.com and be sure to follow them on Facebook and watch for when they have more fun surprises!

This is an in-store only promotion." This sounds like a great deal!

Another review for Smiley360 this one is for my Knorr Homestyle Stock mission, and this recipe is awesome!

Great recipe for green beans! I used my free sample of Knorr Homestyle Stock from my Smiley 360 mission kit! This is a side dish, so make sure you have a use for the rest of the stock! (I used mine to simmer chicken in a skillet along with butter, salt, pepper and thyme.)
Ingredients:
3 slices bacon, chopped
1 tbsp and 1 1/2tsp butter
1/2 red onion, chopped
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped
4 small new potatoes, diced
1/2 large clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp chicken broth (made from Knorr Homestyle stock)
3/4 tsp white balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
First, cook the chopped bacon in a skillet, over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until evenly browned; drain, set aside on a plate. Next, melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat, add the onion, stirring until translucent. Then add the cooked bacon, green beans, potatoes, garlic,& chicken broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over low heat until the green beans are done. Sprinkle with vinegar... Click Here - http://bit.ly/A3aN0Q

Another awesome site that I really like so far is BzzAgent!  This site randomly picks people for campaigns in which they send you a product and you get to try it out then post your reviews on all of your social networks.  I just recently joined this site as well, and the first campaign I was chosen for was Dr. Scholl's for Her product line. The Bzz kit I was sent included a pair of the inserts for high heels, along with quite a few coupons and my instruction sheet.  I am a sucker for shoes with heels, maybe because I am vertically challenged at 5'3".  However, I also suffer from foot pain regardless of if I am wearing heels, flats or tennis shoes!  As my pain got worse, I gave up on wearing any kind of shoes with heels because it was just too much!  It was my poor feet's lucky day when I got accepted to this Bzz Agent campaign!  I was skeptical at first, but wow!, was I surprised!  These inserts really do work!  They provide the right amount of padding for my toes and heels, and the arch support is fantastic!  The inserts stay in place regardless of how long I walk, and because they are clear and thin (not too thin!), no one can tell I am wearing them!  In fact, I liked them so much I went and bought another pair of the inserts for heels as well as a few other products in the Dr. Scholl's for Her product line.  You should really try them if you suffer from any kind of foot pain whether in flats, heels, sandals or tennis shoes! Go to
dr. scholls.com to check them out!  There is also an online coupon!
Here is my latest post for my Dr. Scholl's for Her Bzz Agent campaign:

Thanks Dr. Scholl's and BzzAgent for my free sample and coupons! Great product!

After wearing my Dr. Scholl's for Her inserts for heels for quite awhile now, and being very impressed, I just had to go try another product in the line. I have always had foot pain regardless of wearing flats, heels or tennis shoes, so when I saw the Dr. Scholl's for Her Comfort Inserts with "unique FabuSTEP" for pumps and flats I just HAD to try them! These inserts are also slim and clear so you cannot see you are wearing them. They have extra cushioning in both the heel and ball of foot areas so when I walk, the shock is absorbed by the inserts instead of my feet! They also provide plenty of support for my arch. Like the high heel inserts, these are thin enough that they do not crowd your feet, yet at the same time, are thick enough to provide plenty of cushioning. I was very impressed, and could tell a huge difference almost immediately! I am so glad I got these because they work great! Now I can wear heels, pumps and flats and my feet do not bother me at all!

One reason I wanted to start this blog is to have a place to continue to voice my opinion as a consumer. I will be posting many product reviews I do for w.o.m. sites I belong to such as Bzz Agent, Crowdtap, Smiley 360, Influenster and many more!  ( I will be providing a list of these sites in an upcoming blog).  As a consumer I think it is only fair that we be able to have a say about the products we buy!   I look forward to posting many of my reviews in the future, and I hope it will maybe help someone make a decision about what they do or do not want to buy!  Since I just started this blog a couple of days ago, and I am almost through with a lot of my first samplings from these sites, the reviews that follow in the next few days will be few as compared to when I get new samplings to share!
If you are not familiar with the sites I listed above, you should check them out!  I am a relatively new member to all of these sites, and so far I am loving it! I have already gotten to try quite a few products, and have met so many new and wonderful people as well!  The way these sites basically work is they send you products to try in exchange for you providing your insights on the product through your social networks.  A lot of these sites are set up where you can earn points by doing various activities, and then for some you can cash those points in towards gift cards, others move you up to different levels based on your points and the higher you go the more likely you are to be chosen for really cool samplings, parties to host and more.  Regardless of the rewards, the sites are a lot of fun!
One such site I belong to is Smiley360.  I am a new member, but so far have been sent 2 products to try and rate!  I am waiting for my third to come in the mail, and when it does, I will post all my reviews from the beginning. My first mission kit was for Knorr Homestyle Stock. I was sent samples of the stock, a cute ladle, a small recipe booklet and my instruction card.  I posted many reviews about the stock, and let me tell you, it was delicious!  Another sample I was sent was for Arm and Hammer's Sensitive toothpaste.  This kit contained 1 full size tube, 4 smaller sample tubes and my instruction card.  Check out their site and you can get a free sample as well(as long as supplies last). Below is the most recent review I posted.

I've been using Arm and Hammer's Sensitive toothpaste for close to a month now, and I am still very pleased with the results! I am able to eat what I want now without having any pain! In fact, today I was able to bite into a Klondike ice cream sandwich with my front teeth and felt almost zero pain...a huge improvement! If you haven't checked out their website yet, you should! You can even get a free sample while supplies last! www.tryAHSensitive.com Get your free sample of Sensitive Toothpaste: http://bit.ly/wT0KE7

Here is an awesome recipe I found at my local Publix and decided to try.   I made it the other night, and it was awesome!  There was enough to feed the three of us, as well as some leftovers.  This is a great dish because it is simple and does not take a lot of time.
Pork Tenderloin with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
2 pork tenderloins (about 2lbs)
1/4 cup of mayonnaise
1 (1-oz) packet onion soup mix
2 tsps minced garlic
8 oz baby portabella mushrooms (sliced)
1 tbsp. quick-mixing flour
1/2 cup skim milk
Directions
1. Slice tenderloins diagonally into about 12 1/2" thick slices
2. Combine mayo, dry soup mix and garlic in a large bowl.
3. Preheat a large saute pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes.
4.  Stir mushrooms and pork into the soup mixture and coat evenly, then place in pan. Cooking on each side until browned.
5. Stir in flour, cook for 1-2 minutes.
6. Stir in milk, reduce heat to low; cook 4-6 minutes or until sauce thickens and pork is 160 degrees F.
7. Serve and enjoy!!
