Picture Perfect Puzzles, Personalized!! Piczzle

Win a Personalized Picture Puzzle!!

There are so many creative ways these days to preserve your special memories and to showcase your favorite photos.  One of my personal favorites is picture puzzles, where you can have a favorite photograph made into a customized jigsaw puzzle.  It’s such a creative and fun way to show off and preserve my photographs!  And one of my favorite companies for this is Piczzle!
Piczzle creates high quality, fully customized jigsaw puzzles from your favorite photos.  Fully customizable, in that you choose everything from the material and the size to the shape and the number of pieces.  In some cases, you can even choose the type of cut, either traditional or surprise cut which is really the classic Victorian style in which every piece has a different shape while selected pieces are cut in shapes that reflect the puzzle picture. There are two materials from which to choose, cardboard or wood, and the shapes offered include round, rectangular and heart-shaped.  The puzzles range in size from small to giant, and pieces can number from 6 all the way up to 2000.

I was given the opportunity to create a photo puzzle of my own for review.  I found the site to be extremely user-friendly, where you are walked through the entire process step by step.  Once I had chosen the exact puzzle I wanted, the rest of the process took maybe 10 more minutes.  Quick and simple, and I couldn’t wait to see the finished product!

I choose to use one of our wedding photographs for the puzzle, and ordered a medium (8.5” x 11”) cardboard puzzle with 48 pieces.  This particular puzzle comes in a simple cardboard box with a lift-off lid that has the picture used for the puzzle on the top.  Different puzzles come with different type boxes depending on the puzzle you get.   Inside the box is a Ziploc-type bag to further help keep the puzzle pieces together.  You can throw this away and just keep the pieces in the box alone, but I choose to keep it as the lid on the box can easily come off.

The puzzle pieces themselves are fairly thick which I really like because if they were thinner they would bend, especially where they hook together, with use over time and eventually fall apart.  Each piece is a good size, ranging from about 1.5” to 2”, making them easier to handle and harder to lose!  The coloring on the pieces is matte, so there is no shine, and the colors are deep and true, almost an exact match to the original photograph.  The pieces fit snugly together without any unseemly gaps or loose-fitting pieces, so that the finished product looks really nice.

My Verdict
I am very happy with my picture puzzle, and I love how it’s dual purpose as both a preserved memory and a fun puzzle to put together!  I would have preferred a slightly better quality box for the puzzle, but keep in mind that you do not have to pay for the box, and different puzzles come with different type boxes, you are shown the box for the puzzle during the creation process.  All in all, Piczzle did a great job, and I would definitely recommend their company to anyone looking for a fun, creative way to preserve their memories!

As I mentioned above, Piczzle’s photo puzzles are fully customizable and they have a pretty good selection of sizes, shapes and designs from which to choose.  Their prices are pretty good, and range anywhere from $14.95 to $289.95 depending on material, size and number of pieces.  Simply go to https://www.piczzle.com to create your own personalized picture perfect puzzle!  You can also find Piczzle on Facebook and YouTube, where you can check out some great puzzle designs and keep up with the promotions, deals and more!
