Cook N Recipe Organizer

The Ultimate Recipe Software

cookn logo

I am a huge fan of cooking which means I have a huge collection of recipes including hand written ones, recipes copied from friends and hundreds printed off the Internet.  I have so many that keeping all of them organized has turned into quite the challenge, at least it was a challenge until I tried Cook’n Recipe Organizer software.  Now I know exactly where every recipe is and it is a cinch to find each and every one.
Created by DVO Enterprises, Cook’n Recipe Organizer is one of the most popular cooking software programs.  It has been out for many years, and they just recently released Version 10 which I was lucky enough to receive for review.  This awesome software makes cooking and recipe organization as easy as pie!  Below are just a few examples of the amazing things this software can do.
Electronic Cookbook
Not only can you organize all of your Internet recipes, but you can also easily search the Cook’N Cookbook for 1000’s of recipes by using the name, keywords, recipes with photos, prep time, cook time and many more options.  You can also tell the software what ingredients you have on hand and it will list several recipes you can make using just those ingredients.  You can download new recipes weekly from DVO.com and even import recipes from other websites!
Recipe Manager
This feature lets you add your own recipes to the software, plus you can easily adjust serving sizes, print the recipes on 3 different sizes of paper and even easily email your recipes to friends!
Menu Planner
With this you can build your own weekly, monthly or yearly menu by simply dragging and dropping recipes.
Grocery Shopping Assistant
This great feature allows you to easily compile a shopping list from any recipe, Cook’n will automatically do it for you! It will even organize the list items so you can shop by aisle, and it will convert the recipes measurements into package sizes! It will even estimate the cost of your shopping list!
Personal Home Nutritionist
Cook’n Recipe Organizer will analyze the nutritional content of any recipe or menu, including the one’s you add. And since Cook’N has a list of labels from 10,000 food products, you can choose between brands and compare which one is the most nutritious and best fits your needs before you even leave your home.
I was very pleased with how easy Cook’n Recipe Organizer is both to install and to use.  It truly does make finding recipes so much easier.  Even adding my own recipes is a cinch. There are also tons of great Cook’n cookbooks and other e-cookbooks that you can download and automatically access through the software so you can have an entire collection of cookbooks right at your fingertips.
You can download Cook’n Recipe Organizer through the DVO website HERE for only $80!  Plus, you can find them on Facebook where they do recipe exchanges as well as awesome monthly giveaways for great prizes such as Kindle Fire’s, Diamond Candles, Cook’n Recipe books and more!  This is such wonderful software, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to cook!
