Part One of A Two Part Review

  



  


   Do you have back problems like I do?  Does it hurt you to sit in the floor with your kids and watch a movie or play games?  Or how about when you are at the beach and don’t want to drag a heavy chair around with you where ever you go?  Or if you just want to sit up in bed and read or eat breakfast and pillows don’t provide enough support?  I have got a product you have got to try!  One that was designed by physiotherapists to give you the support you need to be comfortable in all of these scenarios and more.  One that it small enough and light enough that you can take it where ever you go.  What is it, you ask?  It’s called the WondaWedge and I was lucky enough to be sent one to review!



   WondaWedge is an inflatable indoor/outdoor lounge pillow with an attached mat.  It was designed to provide multiple levels and angles of support depending on how much it is inflated, and which way you turn it.  You can inflate it to it’s full capacity and it works great as a lower back support while you sit in the floor or are at an outdoor event.  Or you can inflate it only slightly, stretch out the attached mat and use it to prop yourself up while lying on your belly to watch a movie or read a book.  The options are limitless!  Plus, it is small enough and light enough to carry with you any where you go.  All you have to do is deflate it, fold it up and stick it in a bag!


  
  The WondaWedge is made of sueded vinyl which is very durable, waterproof and remains comfortable even in warm temperatures.  I took mine out to our pool a few days ago and used it to support my back while I read.  Despite the direct sunlight and warm temperature, the WondaWedge did not stick to my back nor did it cause me to sweat.  I didn’t have to worry about it getting wet since the material is waterproof, nor was I concerned about it getting dirty since all you have to do is wipe it down with a soft brush and soapy water.



   I have used it for lower back support while sitting in the floor and playing board games with my family.  Before I had a very hard time finding a comfortable position on the floor.  I would find myself starting out sitting cross-legged with my back ramrod straight, then eventually I would be slumped forward with my elbows on my knees.   Ten minutes later I would have to stretch out my legs and lean back on my hands, then re-situate myself again, over and over!  None of these positions would keep my lower back from aching after a short period of time.  However, since I received the WondaWedge, for the first time in quite awhile, I am able to sit comfortably with my back firmly supported and play the entire game without any pain or readjusting.



   I think my favorite use so far has been while I am semi-reclined in bed.  I love to lounge in bed on a Saturday morning with my husband and eat breakfast together, or read or watch a movie.  I could never seem to have enough pillows to prop myself up in a comfortable position.  Especially since our headboard has rails which are spaced far enough apart so that a folded-over pillow will eventually start pushing through!  This is no longer a problem thanks to my WondaWedge!  I just adjust the amount of air, then flip it to the angle of support I need, and lean back and enjoy a lazy morning!



  WondaWedge offers much better ergonomic support for people with moderate to severe back problems than many other alternatives. There are many health issues WondaWedge can help with as well! If you need to be propped up in bed due to GERD, Acid Reflux or respiratory problems, WondaWedge is a much better alternative than using pillows that don’t provide enough support. Pregnant women can prop comfortably to sleep, and it provides excellent support for breast-feeding!  It can provide plenty of lower back support for meditation!
