   Those of you who read my blog regularly know I have tried many skin care products, the majority of which have been all- natural, and that despite having sensitive skin, these products work much better on my skin than their chemical counter-parts.  So it should come as no surprise, that I am always on the look out for any all natural skincare routine.  Most of what I have reviewed have been cleansers and moisturizers, never an entire regimen, until now.  For close to a month now, I have been using an all-natural skincare line called L'BRI (pronounced l-bry, not l-bree) whose main ingredient is Aloe Vera.  Combining the healing properties of Aloe Vera with Alpha Hydroxy fruit acids, antioxidants such as seaweed, and a blend of natural essential oils and synergistic herbal extracts, their products not only cleanse and moisturize, but also help to repair damaged skin.
   I have always been familiar with some of the main benefits of Aloe Vera, such as easing the sting of sunburn and moisturizing extremely dry skin.  What I did not know, was that it has many more beneficial properties, including the capability to cleanse and detoxify by removing dead skin cells, wastes and toxins, and the ability to actually slow the aging process!  Researchers have shown that Aloe actually stimulates the action of certain enzymes in the skin tissue which enhance the process of cell division, specifically the division of the cells that produce collagen.  And we all know that collagen is what keeps our skin firm.  In addition, Aloe also contains large amounts of vitamins, minerals and amino acids which help nourish and moisturize, while at the same time accelerating the process of rejuvenating and rebuilding new, healthy skin.

What They Say: a deep cleaning, water soluble gel with Aloe Vera, Vitamins A, E and C and natural botanical extracts.  Removes make up, pore-clogging oils and environmental pollutants.  Helps control breakouts and blemishes.
What I Say:  This is the first non-foaming cleanser I have used that actually does remove all of my make up and leaves my skin clean and soft.  It only takes a little bit to clean my entire face and neck. I use it once in the morning and once at night, massaging it in my skin in a gentle, circular motion, then removing with a damp cloth. The scent is wonderfully light, fresh and clean.

Exfoliating Face and Body Scrub, 4 oz. $16
What They Say:  gently removes tired, dull surface cells and impurities without scratching the skin.  Contains Aloe Vera, Natural Clays, Honey, Ground Almonds, Vitamins A, C and E, Ocean Sea Plants and essential oils of Lemongrass, Geranium, Clay Sage, Chamomile and Violet leaves.
What I Say:  a thin scrub with many tiny exfoliating grains, it has a very earthy, fresh scent.  I use it twice a week following the Cleanser, gently massaging a small amount in tiny circles around my face and neck, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.  It rinses away quickly and cleanly without leaving a film-like feeling.  I can see an immediate difference in the appearance of my skin, especially in the brightness and freshness.

Rejuvenating Facial Peel, 2 oz. $35.50
What They Say:  Made with natural fruit enzymes of green papaya and pineapple along with stabilized Aloe Vera gel.  The ingredients work together to dissolve dead skin cells without acids to improve skin tone, clarity and texture.
What I Say:  At first I was hesitant to smear this orange-colored gel over my face, despite it’s wonderful citrus scent, but once I did, I loved the results!  I use this twice a week, after cleansing. Once my skin is completely dry, I use a small amount to cover my entire face in a thin layer, wait 30 seconds then begin gently massaging in small circular motions.  The exfoliating process will soon begin.  Yes, you are basically using dead skin to exfoliate more skin (yuck!), but the results are simply amazing!  You will notice an immediate difference in skin tone and softness!

Facial Masque, 4oz. $26.50
What They Say:  experience an instant lift with this intensive, deep-cleansing treatment that clears away dead, flaky skin cells and dulling debris as it tightens and tones.  Uses Aloe Vera, Natural Botanical extracts and essential oils.  Crepiness and large pores are diminished while skin become much smoother.  Great for blemished skin and enlarged pores.
What I Say:  this was quite interesting the first time I used it!!  It is a thin, golden-colored liquid that begins drying almost the instant it touches your face!  Two to three times a week, after cleansing, I use a small amount to cover my entire face, avoiding the eyes, in a thin layer.   I then let it dry for at least 10 minutes.  During this time I can feel it tightening while it is drying.  I can practically feel it sucking the dirt, oils and other impurities right out of my skin!  It has a very pleasant, botanical-type scent that helps me relax while I wait.  When it is time to rinse, I use warm water, and it immediately rinses away without my having to repeatedly rinse to make sure it is all gone like I have had to do with other masks.  My skin is left feeling incredibly soft, and looking clean and renewed. This is my favorite of all the products!!

What They Say: this alcohol-free freshener completes the cleansing process and helps protect your skin from bacteria by restoring its natural PH balance.  The Aloe Vera, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Sodium CA and Natural Botanical Extracts help to refine pores and prepare the skin for moisturizing.
What I Say:  I use this after my Cleanser and Extended Skin Care products (Scrub, Peel or Masque), twice a day.  I soak a cotton ball thoroughly then gently wipe my face in upward motions.  A few moments later I can feel my skin begin to tingle, and it feels moisturized and fresh.  It has a very light scent, but it is hard to put a name to it.  I do love how it leaves my skin feeling!

Smooth & Firm Eye Repair Gel, 1 oz. $28
What They Say: this eye gel contains an anti-aging tetra peptide that has been clinically proven to reduce puffiness around the eyes and enhance the skin’s elasticity and smoothness.  L’BRI’s proprietary blend of active botanicals have been added to work to reduce dark circles and wrinkles , improve microcirculation, and strengthen the skin’s collagen and elastin while helping to reduce the amount of free radicals.
What I Say:  again, a moment’s hesitation when I opened the jar and saw the bright green gel that I was to spread all over my eyes!  I dabbed just a tiny, tiny amount of the chilly gel and gently spread it all around my eyes using my ring finger. From underneath my eyes all the way up to the top of my eyebrows, making sure I covered my eyelashes and eyebrow hairs, too;  it keeps the hairs from becoming brittle and dry.  You really only need just a tiny amount to completely cover the area, don’t over-do it!  The first time I used it I was afraid it would burn or something being that I covered my eyes with it, but it doesn’t.  I made sure not to apply too much, just a thin layer, then I let it dry.  You do not wash or wipe it off, just leave it to dry and absorb into your skin.  It does not leave a sticky or greasy residue, instead the skin around your eyes is left soft and smooth.  What tiny beginnings of wrinkles I had at the corners of my eyes, seem to be no more.

What They Say: a gentle hydrating lotion that contains Aloe Vera, Vitamins A, C and E, Deep Ocean Sea Plants, Squalene, and Natural Botanical Extracts which moisturize and protect the skin from moisture loss while minimizing the appearance of fine lines.
What I Say:  this as the final step of my routine.  It takes just a small amount of this creamy lotion to cover my face and neck, and I use slightly damp fingers to help work it into my skin.  It has a very pleasant botanical scent, and it leaves my skin very soft and moisturized.  I use it twice a day, once in the morning and again at night.

Pure Aloe Vera Barbadensis Jelly, 4 oz., $16
What They Say:  pure, unadulterated Aloe Vera penetrates skin quickly to help calm and soothe irritated or inflamed skin.  It acts as a natural bandage to aid in the healing of blemished skin, and it also speeds the healing of insect stings, minor cuts and burns.
What I Say:  it amazes me how many uses Aloe Vera has!  This clear gel has become a necessary addition to our medicine cabinet!  Having a little boy who likes to play in the woods, it comes in handy when he comes in with bites and scrapes.  I use it to calm the itch of the bites, and after cleaning his scrapes and cuts, apply some to help protect and aid in the healing process.  I also use it when we get sunburn and it instantly cools the sting.

My Opinion
   I as said, I have been using this regimen for many weeks now, and I am very impressed with the results!  I have not had a blemish the entire time I have been using this line, and even the tiny white- and black heads I would get on my chin and around the sides of my nose are completely cleared up.  My skin is amazingly clear, radiant and soft, and all the redness around the sides of my nose is almost completely gone, leaving my face with an incredibly even skin tone.  I highly recommend L’BRI products.   L’BRI can be only be purchased through a consultant.  However, you can request samples of their products for only $6.75 plus shipping and handling HERE.  This is a seven day supply of their products.  Below is a picture of what you can expect to receive.
