     Holiday decorations, photos, memory books, clothes, dishes, baby clothes, other memorabilia the list goes on and on when it comes to the amount of stuff a person can collect.  Then you need some where and some way to store all of that stuff, and that can be a challenge!   Especially for me since I live in an apartment without much room and close to NO extra storage space. True, I could go to the grocery and get some plain, boring old boxes to use to hold everything, but that is not very attractive and certain insects love cardboard;  not to mention a lot of this stuff means a lot to me and I want to be able to pass it on to my own children some day, so I want to keep it in a sturdy, nice storage box!  This is where Packaways come in handy!

Packaways are great storage solution containers.  They are made from heavy-duty, corrugated plastic and come in a variety of sizes and styles, each available in your choice of bright, cheerful colors.  Each container is lightweight, waterproof and has an innovative wipe-away end panel so you can change the label easily as needed.  Better yet, each Packaway is collapsible and very durable allowing you to use it over and over again!  If you no longer need to use it, simply fold it up and store it until the next time you need it.

Classic- available in 3 sizes – 12, 16 and 21 gallon – comes in white, pink, blue and green.

Under bed- measures 36 L x 24 W x 6 H (internal dimensions)and is available in white, blue, pink or green for $18.55 to $18.95 (depending on color)

     I had the opportunity to review two of the Classic Packaways, the 16 gallon (pink) and the 21 gallon (blue).  Both are incredibly durable and can hold tons of items.  They were both extremely easy to open up into box form, and have holes for handles, and lids that close.  I love the both the fact that they have wipe away writing panels for labeling and that you can easily break them down when not in use.  Plus, they are so bright and colorful instead of drab and boring! Another bonus, since they all have the same dimensions around the bottom (length and width), they can easily stack on top of each other without forming the ‘Leaning Tower of Boxes’!

     At first I was concerned about the amount of weight they could hold as I wanted to use the smaller one for hardcover books.  I was afraid the bottom might fall out since you don’t use tape to hold it closed, but the way they are designed to fold together on the bottom allows them to hold plenty of weight!

     My opinion?   Whether it’s in your home, an office or a dorm, Packaways are an excellent solution for storage, organization or even moving.  Sturdy, lightweight, waterproof, colorful, stackable, collapsible and reusable, what more could you want?
