And let me tell you, the scent is delectable enough to make-a-me-hungry!  It is redolent of the tropics with a blend of pineapple, coconut, tangerine and a hint of banana;   a very relaxing, fresh scent.  The wax is a pale, creamy yellow color contained in a nice, re-usable glass jar with ‘Surprise Candles, Jamaica Me-Crazy’ printed on a sticker. It is approximately 4 3/4“ tall and  3 1/4“ in diameter. 
  

  As soon as the candle arrived I couldn’t wait for it to burn down to where I could get the surprise.  Once lit, the scent was amazing and strong enough to smell through out the apartment without being over bearing, and the whole candle seemed to glow from within.   Plus, the soy really does burn slower and cleaner, as evidenced by the lack of black soot and/or film on the top of the wax once I extinguished the flame. 




  After a few days, I was able to pull out the red-foil covered surprise! Inside the many layers of foil and a small Ziploc-type bag, was a very pretty pair of Sterling Silver earrings with large, square-cut pink stones.  Probably worth anywhere from $20 to $40 depending on whether the stone is cubic zirconia, rose quartz or something else;  one day I will take them to a jeweler and find out for sure!  I do know that they are pretty, and it was fun waiting to discover my surprise!
