For Skin As Soft As Your Baby’s: Susan Brown’s Baby

Review and Giveaway!

Don’t you love how your baby’s skin feels so soft and smooth?  Don’t you want your skin to feel as soft and smooth? And don’t you want to use only the most gentle products on your baby’s skin as well as your own?  Of course you do!  That’s why there is Susan Brown's Baby…natural luxury skincare products both for Mom and for Baby!
Susan Brown’s Baby was developed by the daughter of a chemist who spent 30 years creating moisturizing cosmetic ingredients for top name companies such as Estee Lauder, Chanel, Clinique and more. Those same oils that were used on her as a baby she continued to use as she matured, leaving her skin smooth and soft.  So she developed a line of products to share with you, Susan Brown’s Baby.  All of her products are made with pure and natural ingredients and are Vegan and Cruelty-free.
There are two collections offered, one of which is the Just For Mom Collection which includes Lotions for hands and feet, Masks, Foot Soaks and more.  The other line is the Sensitive Baby Collection and includes products such as Wipes, Massage Oil, Lotion-to-Powder, Shampoo & Body Wash, Lotions and many more gentle products for a baby’s sensitive skin.

I had the opportunity to review three wonderful products from the Just For Mom collection, the Just For Mom Foot Therapy Cream, the Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak and some Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer.  Both the Foot Therapy Cream and the Foot Soak are made with the First Skin Emollient Complex which is Dermatologist tested and made from a blend of botanical moisturizers. It does not contain any parabens or animal ingredients nor is it tested on animals.
Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak
This wonderful smelling foot soak contains Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Peppermint oils to provide an aromatic experience while the Shea Butter, Chamomile and Oats, along with the First Skin Emollient, leave your feet soothed and conditioned.
This is one of my favorite products by Susan Brown’s Baby!  When you first take the lid off you are enveloped in a cloud of relaxing scent.  Add two large teaspoons of the dark blue crystals to one or two gallons of warm water, mix until the salts are dissolved, then sit back and relax.  Since it has peppermint as one of the ingredients, and although your feet are submerged in warm water, you feel a cooling sensation.  After soaking for a good 15 minutes, I reluctantly pulled my feet from the now cooling water, dried them off and was immediately amazed at how much softer they felt.  Now, completely relaxed and with feet that no longer ached, I slathered some Foot Therapy Cream over both feet to finalize my half hour of Mommy-Spa time.

Foot Therapy Cream
This is a moisturizing lotion for Mom’s poor, tired feet that contains the moisture-rich First Skin Emollient Complex along with Shea, jojoba, Cocoa and Moringa butters.
I found it to be a rather thin lotion, which I usually do not prefer.  So at first I was not very enthusiastic about how well it would work.  I did find its scent to be a wonderfully light, almost citrus-like aroma which reminded me of peaches.  It takes very little to cover both feet, and is almost instantly is absorbed into the skin.  After a few days of use, I did notice a softening of my skin, especially around my heels and the sides of my big toes.  It works very well if you use it immediately following a foot soak, or as soon as you get out of the shower.

Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer
Another favorite, this moisturizing, antibacterial hand sanitizer has a pleasant scent compared to other hand sanitizers.  It’s a clear gel filled with tiny blue-colored beads of skin-softening Vitamin E beads along with jojoba to keep hands soft and decrease the amount of bacteria on your skin.  It is not recommended for use on a baby.
I like it because of the pleasing scent, it does not smell so strongly of alcohol like a lot of others I have used.  Plus it evaporates quickly, leaving my hands soft, not sticky, and smelling heavenly.
