The Magic Tap: Automatic Drink Dispenser

No Drips, No Spills, No Mess!

   reviews7 026
You know how it is when you have little children and they decide to get a glass of milk or juice on their own, they go to the refrigerator and pick up the gallon of drink then proceed to pour it into their glass and all over the counter? Well, there is a solution that saves you from having to clean that mess up!  It’s called the Magic Tap.

Magic Tap by IdeaStream is an incredibly innovative product that is simple to assemble and even easier to use.  It is a small, battery operated dispenser that you simply affix to the top of the milk, juice or water jug, then push a lever and out comes the fluid!  No more lifting or worrying about spills or dropped containers.  Now you can leave the jug in the refrigerator and just hold a glass or bowl under the spout, exert slight pressure and that’s it, the fluid will come out!

I had the opportunity to try a Magic Tap, and was immediately impressed.  It was very easy to assemble, requiring two AA batteries and nothing else.  You simply replace the container’s lid with the Magic Tap which has a rubber-like seal that fits around the mouth of the jug.  It fits snugly so you don’t have to worry about there not being an airtight lid on the drink or any drips.  It has a long tube that goes all the way inside the container, and reaches to the bottom.  At the top is a spout and lever, and you just use your glass or bowl to push against the lever and it acts like a pump to bring liquid up through the tube and out the spout.  It fills up any glass or bowl quickly and silently.  Magic Tap can pretty much get all the fluid out of a container until there is very little left, then you will have to pour the little remaining fluid out into the glass or bowl.

Magic Tap will work on a variety of containers as long as they are half gallon up.  There are a few beverages you should not use with your Magic Tap:
-carbonated beverages
-beverages containing pulp
-beverages containing 40% alcohol or more
-beverages containing Sarsaparilla or Sarsaparilla emulating flavors (root beer)
-beverages beyond their expiration date
My opinion? I really like my Magic Tap! It saves time and prevents any possible spills. There are no drips, and it is extremely easy to use and to clean! You should give it a try!  You can buy Magic Tap online for $19.99, and right now they are running a Buy One, Get One Free deal!!  Be sure to 'like' Magic Tap on Facebook!

That is a awesome idea!! Great review! Ty!! I love that there will be no milk mess in the fridge (ever notice that when they spill they never seem to wipe the bottom of the container BEFORE it goes back in the fridge??)

Gotta have one! I dread going into the fridge sometimes and having to rearrange everything just to get to the juice or tea or soda. This is ingenious. Wish it had been around when all mine were wee ones! :-)

Ok, where was this when my kids were old enough to pour drinks but young enough to still spill the drinks from the containers?

Magic Tap is indeed terrific not only for households that have little children even for adults as well. Though its much convenient for the kids since no mess and such! But I highly suggest magic tap as well especially for those who haven't tried it yet.
