Green Virgin Products: Formula 433

Eco-Friendly Cleaning

Giveaway Coming Soon!

Non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning, look both words up in the dictionary, and you will find a picture of Green Virgin Products.  Okay, well you really won’t, but it should be there, because Green Virgin Products are the epitome of non-toxic, green cleaning.  There are plenty of eco-friendly products out there, but not many of them can claim to be toxin-free as well.  After coming out of retirement due to the economy, and then the death of a non-smoking, extremely health-conscious brother from cancer, Ken and Lola Marion became very aware and interested in the fact that so many of our everyday products contain toxins and known carcinogens.  Products like laundry detergent and fabric softener, household cleaners and even antibacterial soaps and hand sanitizers.  They decided it was time to help make people aware of the fact that although products can be eco-friendly, it does not mean they are also non-toxic.  So they created an eco-friendly, non-toxic line of products that work just as well, if not better, than their counterpart toxic products.  They named their company Green Virgin Products.  and they offer everything from household cleaners to soaps, to laundry detergents to teas for cleansing the toxins from your body.
I received a great package full of environmentally-friendly, non-toxic items, each of which deserves its own review, so today I want to tell you about GVP’s Formula 433 All Purpose Cleaner and Degreaser (1 qt).   Maybe not the most original name, but when you consider how many different uses this cleanser has, you start to wonder if maybe that’s where the name came from!  GVP’s Formula 433 is a completely non-toxic, carcinogen-free, eco-friendly all purpose cleaner and degreaser concentrate.  All you have to do is mix it with water, parts depending on the strength you want, and set to work cleaning.   There is a handy guide on the side of the label that can help you decide what strength you want.

Formula 433 is very strong, yet it is safe enough to drink, literally!  I don’t have to worry about it containing anything except 100% all natural ingredients. No parabens, formaldehydes, bleach, ammonia…nothing toxic at all!  Ingredients include purified water, fatty acids, coconut oil, organic alcohol, folic acid (vitamin B9) and minerals and enzymes derived from plants.  It doesn’t sound like much, nor even very powerful, but once you give it a try, you will want to use nothing else!  I have used it to mop my floors, clean my counters and sinks, scrub my tub, wash the mirrors, windows and so much more!  And whatever I clean with Formula 433 winds up looking and smelling wonderfully clean!

After reading the ingredients, I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I decided to give it the ultimate test of cleaning my kitchen floor.  Having two males in our home, one 9 year old boy who loves to play outside and one man who works at construction sites, both of which head straight for the kitchen when they come in the door, the white-colored kitchen floor gets quite dirty quickly regardless of how many times I mop!  Not to mention all of the cooking and washing of dishes that I do.  So I decided this would be a great test of Formula 433!

When I first opened the cap the first thing I noticed was the very pleasant and very faint citrus scent.  I diluted 10 to 1 with water, as suggested for medium cleaning, and went to work.  Immediately I noticed the water getting dirtier each time I dipped the mop back in, and by the time I finished the floor, I had to go switch the water out.  It is suggested to give the cleaner penetration time, so about 5 minutes later I returned with fresh water and a rinsed-out mop to rinse the floor down.  I was surprised to notice there was no sticky residue on the floor even while the cleaner was penetrating.  It rinsed off easily and left the floor incredibly clean!  In fact, there was this one spot of some blackish looking stuff, almost like a scruff mark, that had been in one corner since we moved in that would never come up no matter how how I rubbed or what cleaner I used;  this time it came up easily with Formula 433 and a little bit of elbow grease!

The results were the same regardless of what I cleaned, everything turned out spotless and sparkling clean!  I also didn’t have to worry about trying to keep the cat off the kitchen floor while I mopped since Formula 433 is non-toxic and safe for children and pets!  You can even wash your hair and body or a newborn kitten or puppy this cleaner is so safe!  And don’t worry about disposal, it will not harm the environment in any way.  In fact, the only things Formula 433 will kill is 99% of e-coli and salmonella bacteria’s (when diluted 5:1 or 10:1), dirt, grease and insects!  Yes, insects!   By law, Green Virgin Products cannot call it an insecticide, because insecticides must contain poisons, and Formula 433 does NOT, but it is an effective bug killer that leaves no harmful residues or fumes!  You can find a list of 100’s of uses on the Green Virgin Product’s website under the GVP Formula 433 Users Guide, you will be amazed!
You can purchase GCP’s Formula 433 directly through their website, or by clicking HERE.  It is available is by the quart, gallon or even in a sample size!  GVP also offers a variety of mixing bottles do you can have specific bottles for specific uses!  To give you an idea of cost, one quart of Formula 433 will cost you $29.95.  Hold on!  Don’t freak out!  You need to consider the fact that this one quart bottle will make 950 ounces of cleaner.   Cleaner that will replace your tub, toilet and tile cleaners, your glass cleaners, your antibacterial hand soaps and hand sanitizers, your floor cleaner, your oven cleaner, counter top cleaner…I could literally go on and on, but you get the point!  One quart size bottle of GVP will will save you over at least $100 that you would otherwise spend on all of those different cleaners.
You can find Green Virgin Products on Facebook and Twitter, and be sure to check out Green Virgin Product’s website to see all the other eco-friendly, non-toxic items they sell!  And remember, keep reading Bullock’s Buzz because I will be reviewing their other fabulous products, and we will be having a GIVEAWAY!! later this week!!
