Spring Cleaning and Organizing with Honey Can Do

Win a 4 Tier Bamboo Entryway Organizer
hcd_logo

With the start of Spring comes Spring Cleaning, a time to clear the clutter, clean and organize your home.   Having recently moved, not only are we doing the cleaning thing, but we are also still in the process of trying to find a place for everything, and one of the spots that needs help is the area right by our front door!
Both my husband and I prefer to take our shoes off at the door when we first come in instead of tracking dirt and germs through out the house.  And it has become habit for me to immediately look for a place to put my purse down as soon as I am through the door.  Plus we also need somewhere to put our umbrellas when it has been raining.  Before I had the opportunity to review another item from my favorite organization helpers, Honey Can Do, everything was just put in a pile by the door.

Those of you who have been with me for awhile, are familiar with Honey Can Do from my review of their cabinet organizer which helped organize the unruly clutter under our bathroom sink.  For those of you who are not familiar with Honey Can Do, they offer innovative and affordable products which provide the solution to your every organizational and storage woe, for every room in your home or office.    They carry everything from  storage shelves to garment bags, hangers to hampers,  baskets to brackets, kids storage products, bath shelves and so much more!  This time, they provided me with the perfect solution to that mess by our front door, a 4 Tier Bamboo Entryway Organizer.

Like many Honey Can Do products, the 4 Tier Bamboo Entryway Organizer came unassembled, but was quite easy to put together.  It took my husband about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and everything we needed for assembly was included in the box along with easy-to-follow instructions.

Made of bamboo, the contemporary-style shelf is water resistant, and it is easy to wipe clean.  I love the fact that the material is sustainable, and not only is it durable and sturdy, but it looks great too!  With four shelves, it can hold up to 10 pairs of shoes, plus there is an area for your umbrellas.  It measures approximately 28.4” in length, 10.7” in width and 25.3” in height.

It works perfectly for us.  We keep our house shoes on one shelf which leaves the other shelves for the shoes on our feet.  That leaves plenty of room on the other shelves for my purse and other items.  I was considering putting a decorative bowl on the top shelf for us to keep our keys in, that way we can keep everything we need when we leave right by the door.

You can find the Four Tier Bamboo Entryway Organizer in the Honey Can Do product catalog which you can download directly from the Products page on the site.  There are many high quality items at very affordable prices that are perfect for helping you organize every room in your house or office.   Their products can also be found on Amazon, EBay, the Home Shopping Network and many other online sites, as well as at offline stores such as Target and Wal-Mart.

It seems like you already finished your spring cleaning and organizing. Me, I have yet to start. This cold weather here in northern Minnesota makes me lazy.

This is adorable! We have a Pottery Barn (knockoff) locker system for our jackets and shoes in our entryway, but this would great for our garage or mudroom. I'm going to have to check out the Honey Can Do catalogue to see what else we can use!

My entryway really could use a good revamping, and I think it's most in need of reorganization.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I totally understand what you mean about needing something right THERE when you get in the doorway. We really don't have anything so we just take off our shoes and put them to the side. That wouldn't be too bad if my dog didn't get excited every time someone came home and snatched them. LOL

This looks like an extremely useful product to have!

I love to be organized. It's funny how much my kids are like me (poor kids). Our front entryway is a mess. I have limited space and didn't know what to do about it until now. Thanks for sharing. I can't enter because I'm Canadian.
