Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce Product Review

Simply Delicious!

bottle1
I was recently given the opportunity to try some Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce!  In my opinion, the name is perfect, this is not just a steak sauce, it is an everything sauce! The bottle says it is good for Steak, Chicken and Fries, but that is not all! I received two bottles, which I thought would be plenty, boy was I wrong!  This is some really fantastic sauce!
Country Bob’s was started by a man named Country Bob Edson who perfected his recipe for his sauce back in 1968. After years of giving it away to friends and family, he finally began to sell it in 1977;  the reaction has been overwhelming.  I can see why!   Now I am not a huge fan of a lot of sauces, but I had read some good things about this one and wanted to try it. When I first opened the bottle I caught a slight whiff of a sweet molasses smell.  That immediately made my mouth water and tempted me to put a dab on my finger and give it a try. WOW!  Delicious!  This dark brown sauce has a slightly sweet taste along with a hint of vinegar and seasonings. It is an All Natural sauce with very low calories, and no fat or cholesterol.

The first dish I decided to try was to simply pour some Country Bob’s over a few pork loins, let them marinate for a couple of hours, then bake them in the oven until the pork was done.  Nothing hard, but to see my family’s expressions when they took a bite, you would think I had worked for hours over a hot stove!!

My next meal is going to be some of those country pork ribs which I will I put in the slow cooker, drown them in Country Bob’s and set it on low for a good 5 hours….heaven!  I also received a couple of recipes with the sauce, and I cannot wait to try those out as well!  There is a recipe for a snack mix, meatloaf, cocktail sauce, baked beans and so many more! I am definitely going to have to buy some more bottles. I thought the two I received would be plenty…nope!  This is a sauce I definitely recommend for anyone who loves to cook and try new things!
Country Bob’s is sold in many stores around the country, but if you are not sure if you can find it in a store near you, you can go online to their store locator.  If you have no luck there, you can always order online from the Country Bob's homepage, as well as other online shopping sites.  Country Bob’s also makes a spicy version of their All Purpose Sauce, a BBQ Sauce and a Seasoning Salt.  All of which can be found on their website along with Gift Packs, Country Bob’s merchandise, recipes and more!  And don’t forget to follow Country Bob’s on Twitter and ‘like’ them on Facebook, where you can find many other awesome recipes, tips and ideas!

I received this product for free as part of a product review, and was not compensated in any other way.  I am not under contract with this company, and  I chose to review this product.  All opinions are my own.
