OOFOS Sandals Review and Giveaway

“Feel the OO”

      My feet have found true love! At last!  I love wearing sandals, especially during Spring and the unbearable heat of the Southern Summer.  One of my favorites is just a casual flip-flop, easy on, easy off. Especially when I spend time at the pool or take a trip to the beach.  But no matter what kind I wear, by the end of the day, my feet will start to ache.  It’s like they are all too thin in the sole.  That is until now!  I have found OOFOS. 
     OOFOS were designed by feet professionals with the goal in mind to create a sandal that is not only comfortable, but actually helps to relieve pain and fatigue from being on your feet.  Together with the help of a chemist, they designed and patented their own OOFoam.  This energy-absorbing foam is amazing! It will mold to the form of each persons foot/body so that it works with your foot as you walk, and disperses the impact out through the sides of your feet instead of up into your legs.  It will not break down, it is lightweight, water proof and machine washable.   If you look at the side of the sandal, you can see how thick the OOFOAM is, and how the bottom is slightly curved which helps to support your feet while both walking and standing still.  You can watch this video from YouTube and see exactly how well they conform to your feet and how they ‘move’ with you!

 
     OOFOS sandals are made in both men’s and women’s sizes, and they come in two different styles, the OOahh Slide and the OOriginal Thong.  Both are offered in a great selection of colors. I received a pair of the OOahh Slides in Mocha, and I love them!  The first time I put them on, and every time since, it was literally like walking on soft grass or sand.  You can feel how they fit to your foot and absorb the impact when you walk.  They stay on well, and do not slide off.  I catch myself curling my toes with a lot of flip-flop style sandals I have worn to keep them from flip-flopping off my foot, but I no longer do that with my new OOFOS because they fit to my foot so well.
